Born tea - presentation and review

Paris, France

Hello lovely people!

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by a newly launching tea brand to try and give my feedback on their tea. Obviously, the tea-addict in me couldn't say no and here is my experience.

I tested teas from Born tea. It is the brainchild of 2 young entrepreneurs who wanted to bring authentic tea from the region where it is cultivated in China.

I received a 3-pack tea which included Biuochun green tea, ShengPuer tea and Oolong Tie Guan Yin tea. Know all about the processing of different tea here.

The speciality about Chinese tea is that it has to be brewed for a small amount of time. Longer brewing time means bitter tea. That is the principle of Born Tea. Their teas can be brewed 4-7 times.

I was used to drinking a big cup of tea by brewing a tea bag for 2-3 minutes. So for the first time I tried re-brewing the tea and drinking it in small quantities. To say the truth, it was relaxing to spend more time to drink tea. It felt like a ritual (which made me buy 2 teapots that I didn't need, but that's another story).

Even after brewing the tea repeatedly, the perfume and taste did not change. The number of times you can rebrew a tea depends on the type of tea. The indications are written on the packet. Born Tea offers different varieties of tea and they are affordable since they are sourced directly from the platations.

On the whole, Born Tea has increased my love for tea consumption and if you are tea lover like me, you must check them out!

Take care
Shy
